The short answer is, no we dont accept everyone who contacts us as a client.  Every player and situation are different.  Some have realistic expectations and goals while others may not.  During the initial conversation we can interview each other and see if there is a match.

In the world of high level hockey, everything begins and ends with scouting.  Our advisers are constantly traveling the world scouting players at every level from U14 on up.  Our network of independent scouts, also known as "bird dogs" also keep us informed.  Whether its in person or online, an HTM adviser or scout will watch an average of five hundred games per year at multiple levels.  Chances are, that even in your small town, someone from HTM has seen you play.

This is a complicated question.  The real question should be; Are you good enough to be drafted, and have you done enough to make teams want to draft you.  This applies to the NHL as much as it applies to any junior hockey league.  There is a lot more to getting drafted than simply showing up to play.
